  Pen friends教學(xué)設(shè)計:

  教學(xué)目標(biāo):

  (一)知識目標(biāo)

  1. To learn how to meet and describe people.

  2. To learn to guess the meaning of new vocabulary according to the context.

  3. To learn to understand the whole meaning of the text by asking and answering some questions.

  (二)技能目標(biāo)

  1. To use pair work to study new words .

  2. To use scanning and skimming to improve their reading ability.

  3. To use tasks to train students’ cooperative habits.

  (三)情感目標(biāo)

  To learn to be friendly to other people.

  教學(xué)重點:

  How to teach new vocabulary efficiently in class.

  教學(xué)難點:

  To use different ways to let most of the students be interested in reading and learn how to read.

  教學(xué)過程:

  一、Warm-up

  1. Revision about the words and their explanation. (competition)

  want to=would like to like…better than=prefer…to

  be good at= does well in well-known= famous

  very small= tiny not safe= dangerous

  have a good time= enjoy oneself though= although

  not…any longer= no longer make sick people better=doctor

  二、Pre-reading preparation

  1. Introduce two new characters appeared in the cartoon.

  The boy is called Hi, do you know why ? Because he is high or tall. The robot is called Lo,because he is low or short.

  We wiil meet them in every chapter. They will make some jokes or puns and tell us what we will learn in this chapter.

  2. Look at the picture in the cartoon and read the dialogue between the two characters. (pair work)

  3. Learn to use English to explain the meaning of pen-friend= someone you write letters to as a hobby.

  4. Discuss the meaning of cartoon and share opinions. (they can use Chinese to explain when necessary)

  5. summarize the cartoon: Hi and Lo are thinking of the meaning of Pen-friend in two different ways. The boy is thinking of the meaning we have just learned—someone you write letters to, but Lo is thing of a friend who is a pen. That’s funny, isn’t it?

  6. Read the dialogue in groups and ask: what is the topic of this chapter?—Pen-friend.

  三、While-reading procedure

  1. One thing which we often write about in a letter to pen-friends is sports. Can you tell the names of various sports?

  2. Look at the exercise 1 on P2. Look at the picture and match them with their names.

  rugby—橄欖球, hocky-- 曲棍球

  3. Read them and discuss which sport is your favorite sport, why?

  4. Take a look at the text and tell why it is a letter and not a story or a poem.

  Introduce the normal formats of writing an English letter.

  Do Exercise B Look and think: explain the meaning of any words in this exercise: title(標(biāo)題), signature(簽名), greeting(問候語), top right corner(右上角)。

  5. Tick the things that you can see in this text. Check answers together.

  四、Post-reading activity

  Listen to the recording and do Exercise B2, when listening is finished, the exercise should be done as well.

  五、Assignment

  1. Listen to the recording twice.

  2. Copy new vocabulary.

  3. Write three reasons about your favorite sport.

  Pen friends教學(xué)反思:

  今天我講的是六年級上冊Module5 Unit2 Pen Friends,這節(jié)課的主要目標(biāo)就是讓學(xué)生能夠展示自己的身份卡并將自己的個人情況進行介紹,進而能夠比較熟練的運用所學(xué)句型說明自己交友的原因。

  上課伊始先帶學(xué)生進行了活動四與活動五,通過歌曲和游戲活躍了課堂氣氛,激發(fā)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣與熱情,然后通過師生互動、生生互動復(fù)習(xí)can的用法,導(dǎo)入活動一與活動二的學(xué)習(xí),通過兩人合作與小組合作學(xué)習(xí)的方式重點訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生的聽、讀、說的能力,兩人合作掌握重點,小組合作交流個人信息突破難點。教師點撥重點詞的用法,并通過習(xí)題進行達(dá)標(biāo)檢測。通過本課的學(xué)習(xí),大部分學(xué)生能夠達(dá)標(biāo)。課上的基本成功,充分體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生主體教師主導(dǎo)的作用。但是在我的教學(xué)過程中還是出現(xiàn)了以下幾個問題。

  1.課堂上英語口語不太流利,一節(jié)課下來,很多時候是用中文講的,因為六年級學(xué)生剛開課不久,而且基礎(chǔ)差 ,好多學(xué)生四五年級英語基本沒學(xué),大部分學(xué)生還不太習(xí)慣我用英語講課,所以他們還不適應(yīng)我,但是我課上應(yīng)該盡量用英語發(fā)出指令,用太多中文就相當(dāng)于逃避困難,不但不利于學(xué)生聽力的提高,也不利于我的口語的提高,在這點上我做錯了,雖然有客觀原因,但我應(yīng)該積極的嘗試著用英語講,從最簡單的開始,讓學(xué)生慢慢適應(yīng)我們的語音語調(diào),熟悉一些簡單的英語指令,這樣才能盡我最大的努力為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個好的英語學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。

  2.這節(jié)課下來,總體感覺后半節(jié)課的氣氛不太好,有點沉悶,可能是因為有老師聽課,有些學(xué)生膽怯不敢表現(xiàn)自己,在以后的教學(xué)中我要多與學(xué)生交流、多和學(xué)生接觸,盡快熟悉,了解他們,多給予鼓勵。課堂上多給學(xué)生一些回答問題的機會,使他們體驗成功,增強自信,努力創(chuàng)設(shè)寬松、和諧的教學(xué)氛圍。

  3.對“讀“的環(huán)節(jié)把握不夠好,應(yīng)該有更多的朗讀訓(xùn)練,比如:個別學(xué)生讀;小組朗讀比賽;男女聲朗讀比賽。同時老師為學(xué)生糾正語音語調(diào),保證學(xué)生朗讀的字正腔圓、有聲有色。在以后的教學(xué)中我要努力處理好這一環(huán)節(jié)。

  4.板書設(shè)計有點繁瑣,應(yīng)該更加簡練些。

  以上就是我上這節(jié)課的成功與不足。在以后的教學(xué)中,我要及時總結(jié)課堂教學(xué)中的經(jīng)驗與不足,多向其他老師學(xué)習(xí),逐步完善自己的課堂。
