1.what time/when引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句

what time意為“何時;什么時候”。如果詢問主語什么時候做某事,可以用" What time do/does+主語+動詞原形+…?”句型,其中, what time用來提問具體的時間,此時的 what time可以用when替換。

What time do you get up?

=When do you get up?

你什么時候起床?

What time does she often watch TV?

=When does she often watch TV?

她經(jīng)常什么時候看電視?

辨析:what time與when

what time與when都可以對時間進行提問,表示“什么時候”。what time用來詢問具體的時間點;when既可以用來詢問具體的時間點,也可以用來詢問時間段。具體用法如下:

1)對時間狀語提問時,有時兩者可以互換。

What time/When do you usually go to school?

你通常什么時候去上學(xué)?

2)向?qū)Ψ皆儐柧唧w時間,即幾點幾分時,只能用what time,不能用when。

What time is it?幾點了?

3)詢問年份、月份、日期時,只能用when,不能用what time。

2.頻度副詞

1) 含義: 表示次數(shù)、頻率的副詞稱為頻度副詞,usually(通常), sometimes(有時),always(總是),often(經(jīng)常),hardly(幾乎不), never(從不)

2) 位置:在be動詞/第一個助動詞/情態(tài)動詞之后,在實義動詞之前:

She is sometimes very busy.

她有時很忙。

I will never forget the first time I met you.

我將永遠忘不和你的第一次見面。

We often go there.

我們常去那兒。

※sometimes可放在句首、句中或句末,often放在句中或句末

3) 用法: often,always,usually等常和一般現(xiàn)在時連用,表示現(xiàn)在經(jīng)?;蚍磸?fù)發(fā)生的動作

1. get dressed穿上衣服A(7)

get dressed意為“穿上衣服”。dress 作動詞,意為“穿衣服;給(某人)穿衣服”,接賓語時,只能接表示人的名詞或代詞;作名詞,意為“連衣裙;衣服”。

辨析:get dressed與 be dressed in

get dressed 表示“穿”的動作,意為“穿上衣服”。

eat breakfast/lunch/dinner表示“吃早/午/晚飯”,也可以用have來表示“吃”。

(2) on weekends為固定短語,意為“在周末”,相當于 at weekends,是一般現(xiàn)在時常用的時間狀語。

1)采用數(shù)詞表達時間:

seven thirty 七點半

2)采用介詞past,to表達時間:表達時間一般半個小時以內(nèi)(含半小時)常用介詞past,表示“幾點過幾分”;半小時過后常用介詞to,表示“差幾分到幾點”。

a quarter past eight 八點一刻

half past six 六點半

twenty-five to five 差二十五分五點(四點三十五)

3)整點可用“基數(shù)詞+ o’clock”表示。

six o’clock六點鐘。

4)a.m.和p.m: a.m.表示“午前,上午”(午夜12:00后至中午12:00前);p.m.表示“午后,下午”(中午12:00后至午夜12:00前)。在使用時常用小寫形式,但有時也可使用大寫形式,比如本課電子鐘就采用了大寫形式AM和PM。

助記:

差“幾分”到“幾點”,

寫個“to”字在中間。

若是“幾點”過“幾分”,

還是past來接管。

若是如此太麻煩,

先“點”后“分”也能辦。

either…or…為固定搭配,意為“要么…要么…,”或者…或者…”,用來連接兩個獨立的單詞、短語,甚至獨立的句子。

辨析:lots of,much與many

lots of,much與many都有"許多;大量”之意,但用法有區(qū)別:

much修飾不可數(shù)名詞,many修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。
