　　在運(yùn)輸過程中，貨物可能會(huì)遭到損害、丟失或偷竊。買方或賣方為了在遭受損失后得到補(bǔ)償，都事先根據(jù)具體情況向保險(xiǎn)公司投保，辦理貨物的運(yùn)輸保險(xiǎn)。投保費(fèi)用(保險(xiǎn)費(fèi))由買賣雙方在合同中確定。投保人按保險(xiǎn)金額、險(xiǎn)別及保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)率向承保人(保險(xiǎn)公司)支付保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)、領(lǐng)取保險(xiǎn)單或保險(xiǎn)憑證。

　　對(duì)于FOB 和CIF的交易，裝運(yùn)完畢后，賣方應(yīng)馬上向買方發(fā)出運(yùn)送通知，以便買方能及時(shí)對(duì)貨物進(jìn)行保險(xiǎn)。對(duì)于CIF的交易，習(xí)慣上由賣方按發(fā)票金額的110%投保一切險(xiǎn)(綜合險(xiǎn))。
