　　用作形容詞時(shí)，young很易和另一形容詞youthful混淆不清。

　　Youthful的意思是“少壯的”、“壯盛的”、“年輕力壯的”(having the qualities of young people)，它是個(gè)褒義詞，表示美好的意味，特指精神、容貌、體力、熱情等方面而言。例：

　　Mr.Wang is a middle-aged man of youthful appearance.

　　中年的王先生的相貌看起來很年輕。

　　Those are our youthful sports.

　　那些是我們少年時(shí)代的游戲。

　　The old man's youthful spirits were the envy of all.

　　Young除作形容詞外，尚可用作名詞，指動物的幼雛。例如：
