　　重點(diǎn)班的英文表達(dá)就是honors class。honor做名詞時(shí)有榮譽(yù)、尊敬、正直等意思，做動(dòng)詞時(shí)有尊敬的意思。honors則有禮遇，優(yōu)異成績(jī)的意思。與之相對(duì)的就是普通班：regular class。據(jù)悉，該學(xué)校的重點(diǎn)班根據(jù)學(xué)生的中考成績(jī)來(lái)定。中考的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)是:High School Entrance Examination。air-conditioning就是空調(diào)的意思。文中的fan是指風(fēng)扇，fan另外還有一個(gè)意思，就是大家熟悉的“迷, 狂熱愛(ài)好者 ”，也就是我們俗稱的“粉絲”。
