英語中的各種左右如何說
通常漢語中的“左膀右臂”和“左右手”,都是用來比喻“得力的助手”。英語用right-hand man表示。
“左”和“右”可以用來表示人體器官和部位,例如:
left/right eye左/右眼
left/ right ear左/右耳
left/right part of the face左/右臉;
left/righ hand左/右手
left/right arm左/右臂;
left/right shoulder 左/右肩;
left/right leg左/右腿;
left/right foot 左/右腳。
正常人的器官數(shù)目是固定的。在有些語言中,出現(xiàn)多余器官時(shí)常常具有喻義。漢語的“三只手”表示“小偷”。英語說一個(gè)人有兩只左手或兩只左腳,表示“笨拙”的意思。例如:

可原諒的錯(cuò)誤。
“左翼”和“右翼”本來是鳥的翅膀,人們常常用它們來表示政治傾向。一般來說,“左翼”代表“激進(jìn)”,而“右翼”代表“保守”。例如:

左/右翼報(bào)紙;
