可以嘗試 “詞、句、篇”三步曲的寫作教學：
1.巧記單詞
按照語言學習規(guī)律，英語寫作教學的次序應(yīng)是：詞—句—篇。整個訓練遵循“詞不離句，句不離篇”的原則，由易到難，由簡到繁，循序漸進，不斷提高。這三個階段彼此銜接，教會學生在大量的語言實踐中學會運用詞句，從而達到在書面表達教學中“教、學、用”三者的統(tǒng)一。
書面表達需要一定的詞匯量，學生書面表達時容易忘記單詞或把漢英詞匯等同起來。因此，要求學生堅持每天聽寫、默寫、循環(huán)記憶單詞，掌握鞏固詞匯。
2.用詞造句、連詞成句
寫作應(yīng)從詞句練起，記憶所學的詞和詞組的最好方法是在使用中記憶。通過口、筆頭造句練習，模仿課本例句或做替換練習是鞏固記憶的好方法。教師應(yīng)重視教材中的單句練習，引導學生從對單個句型的掌握，逐漸過渡到多種句型的混用，直到學生能連貫自如地表達思想。
3.連句成意、線面融合
此項訓練的主要目的是培養(yǎng)學生把語法項目、教材內(nèi)容和文章體裁有機結(jié)合起來的能力。
第一步，仿寫
為了便于優(yōu)生書面寫作潛能的發(fā)揮，教師可以要求他們只模仿課本、練習冊中的題型，而不局限于模仿課本或練習冊中的詞匯。
第二步，引導學生寫
引導學生書面表達有許多形式，教師要從學生“學”的角度來設(shè)計教學活動，使學生的學習活動具有明確目標，并構(gòu)成一個有梯度的連續(xù)活動。
第三步，自由發(fā)揮
教師要改進教學方法，設(shè)計開放性的寫作活動，既提高了學生讀和寫的能力，又提高了其識別、判斷和改錯的能力，更能發(fā)揮學生的內(nèi)在潛能和豐富的想象力，還增加了學生的成功感。
例如，讓學生寫一封應(yīng)聘的書信?？梢栽谝粔K小黑板上出示作文要求，讓學生展開思路，師生共同選出幾個最佳的起始句，然后再布置學生課后對這道書面表達題進行布局、謀篇、調(diào)整，添枝加葉，最終寫出個性化的文章。
