Vicky’s mother opened the door. She had a look at Vicky’s bedroom.
“What a mess! It looks as if a hurricane (颶風(fēng)) passed through Vicky’s bedroom,” said Vicky’s mother. “I must ask her to clean it.”

A red sky at sunset may mean that there are clear skies to the west, where the sun sets. A red sky at sunrise usually means that the clear weather has already passed, so storms might be coming.
Forecasting the weather has been practiced for thousands of years. In the 5th century BC, the Greeks sent out forecasts to sailors. They used signs in nature to forecast the weather. But today, meteorologists send exact forecasts further in advance (提前). They use scientific instruments to study weather conditions around the world and make forecasts. Pilots, farmers and many other people depend on these forecasts. Luckily, most of us can simply look on the smart phone or turn on the TV to find out what kind of weather is coming.
If you are looking for some signs of the weather, pay attention to nature. There are two basic rules used in weather forecasting: Weather generally moves from west to east, and low air pressure (壓力) usually means rain or snow. So pay attention to the signs. 一、通讀全文,了解大意
這是做好完形填空題的前提,也是減少做完形填空題盲目性的重要步驟,對于解析命題中的邏輯推理、上下文及情景語境方面的內(nèi)容起著決定性作用。每篇文章都有一個(gè)主題思想,段與段之間有承上啟下、前呼后應(yīng)的句子,段與段、句與句之間緊密相連從而形成一個(gè)有機(jī)整體。因此在做完形填空的時(shí)候一定要一氣呵成去讀短文,不要中斷思路,對于一些不能理解的細(xì)節(jié),如生詞可以跳過去。另外,在閱讀的時(shí)候要特別注意短文的開頭句子和結(jié)尾的句子,因?yàn)檫@些句子一般不設(shè)計(jì)空白,給學(xué)生提供必要的背景信息和結(jié)果結(jié)論。
二、重視主題句

在通讀全文的基礎(chǔ)上,根據(jù)句子結(jié)構(gòu)是否正確、語意是否通順、邏輯是否合理對各備選答案應(yīng)進(jìn)行對比分析。分析時(shí)具體應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn):
(1) 當(dāng)遇到一個(gè)需要填的詞時(shí),首先要考慮這個(gè)詞在句子中的成分是什么?詞性是什么?
(2) 如果需要填的是名詞,就要考慮名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)和所有格形式。
(3) 如果需要填的是形容詞或副詞,就應(yīng)考慮是用原級或是比較級,還是最高級。
(4) 如果需要填的是動(dòng)詞,則要考慮動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài),語態(tài),人稱變化,語氣以及非謂語動(dòng)詞(不定式和動(dòng)詞-ing形式)的一般式,被動(dòng)式和完成式等。
(5) 如果需要填空的是介詞,則要注意固定搭配的用法。
(6) 如果需要填的是冠詞,則要注意是用不定冠詞還是用定冠詞。
(7) 另外要注意一些固定句型的完整。
(8) 所選答案應(yīng)該和上下文和結(jié)構(gòu)上都吻合。
(9) 局部服從整體,應(yīng)從短文的整體內(nèi)容出發(fā)。
四、語法判定
1.要注意出現(xiàn)頻率較高的詞類題,依次為動(dòng)詞、介詞、代詞、連詞、形容詞、副詞。選擇各類詞時(shí),要注意以下幾個(gè)方面:
名詞的選擇;動(dòng)詞的選用;選擇介詞;選擇代詞;選擇連詞;選擇形容詞和副詞。
2.要注意句法題,搞清句子的種類、類型、省略和倒裝
句子的種類包括陳述句、疑問句、祈使句和感嘆句。一般以考查疑問句、感嘆句的詞序?yàn)槎嘁?,其次是祈使句的零時(shí)態(tài)等。
句子的類型有簡單句、并列句、復(fù)合句和并列復(fù)合句。
句子的省略與倒裝很少考查,卻要看懂,不能引起對文章的曲解。
3.在語法適用方面,可以用擇優(yōu)法和排除法
擇優(yōu)法是把各選項(xiàng)代入短文中,選出在詞義上符合要求,且在語法上又沒有語病的答案。
排除法是在代入選項(xiàng)時(shí)如發(fā)現(xiàn)選項(xiàng)單詞意義不對,或詞與詞搭配不妥,或存在語法錯(cuò)誤,或與上下文有矛盾,則迅速排除不合適的選項(xiàng),剩下的就是正確答案。
五、例舉對比
在完形填空的多項(xiàng)選擇中,常常會(huì)遇到難以選擇的題目。需要調(diào)動(dòng)頭腦里的知識“儲(chǔ)備”,例舉熟知的語言現(xiàn)象與之相比較,再做出明智的選擇。
