初一學生英語學習方法
很多同學訴說學習英語時往往存在用足了勁卻收效甚微的現(xiàn)象,這時我們常會抱怨甚至想要放棄英語。學英語不得法才是癥結的所在。下面我想談如何培養(yǎng)良好的學習習慣和方法:
1、養(yǎng)成良好的預習習慣
課前預習是獨立獲得知識的前提,也是提高聽課效率的可靠保證。預習能減少聽課的盲目性,激發(fā)你的求知欲望。預習可使自己初步熟悉教材,發(fā)現(xiàn)疑點和難點,找出自己的薄弱點,為下一步聽講作好充分的思想準備,并打下一定的基礎。
如何進行預習:
1) 找出該單元的中心話題,即該單元的中心內(nèi)容。
2)明確本單元的知識要點:如語法項目、句型及詞匯,
3) 找出本單元的疑、難點。凡是在本單元出現(xiàn)而自己無法解決的知識點,即是重點,也可以說是難點。預習時,在書上作記號,標明重點、難點、疑點,并在筆記本上做好記錄,注明本單元的知識結構、重、難點和預習體會等。
2、養(yǎng)成課堂上記筆記、積極發(fā)言、大膽回答問題的習慣
學生在課堂上認真聽講,注意力高度集中,不開小差;保持強烈的求知欲,積極思考老師提出的問題,踴躍發(fā)言,努力解決在預習中存在的問題,并作好課堂筆記,重點突出,難點醒目,疑點鮮明。以便復習時可以查閱。努力在課內(nèi)有目標有意識地去識記該課的生詞、短語、句型、重點句子。然后要注意一些語言在特定環(huán)境中的運用,特別是習慣表達法的運用。在運用中,要主動地用英語回答、討論和提出問題,并注意角色扮演或做游戲等活動。初中生的英語知識主要還是從課堂上獲得。
教師起的只是導演作用,關鍵是需要學生作為演員,積極投入,在參與的過程中提高聽說讀寫能力和語言運用能力。因此,學生養(yǎng)成良好的聽說讀寫訓練習慣尤為重要,這是向課堂四十五分鐘要質(zhì)量的根本保證。有一小部分的學生怕害羞、怕出差錯,不敢開口講,這會給初中英語學習帶來不利。俗話說:沒有缺點,就不會進步。學生應該注意模仿并主動與教師配合,做一名好演員。
不要怕出錯,今天說不好,不代表明天說不好;今天說得少,明天說得多,就是進步;別人這樣表達,你能那樣表達,你就有了創(chuàng)新。只有大膽實踐、體會,才能得到鞏固提高。
3、養(yǎng)成朗讀背誦英語的習慣
英語是一門有聲語言。學英語就要背誦,尤其是我們在母語環(huán)境下學習英語,首先要過好語音關。聽清楚了再發(fā)音,繼而進行朗讀、背誦?!白x書百遍,其義自見”就是其道理所在。在讀、背的過程中,可以做到詞不離句,句不離文,不知不覺間增強了語感,記牢了單詞、短語和句型,同時也培養(yǎng)了理解能力,其實朗讀背誦是學生記單詞的最佳途徑。因此,學過的句型、對話和課文要求學生朗讀和背誦,這是提高英語水平的根本保證。
英語學習,朗讀和背誦是必不可少的,尤其對初中學生來說更是至關重要的。中國學生在日常生活中聽到的、看到的、與人交流的都是漢語,即使學了英語,也是“啞巴英語”。因為平時幾乎不說,更談不上運用。因此中國學生也就很難從生活中得到輸入英語語言材料的機會;學生在每周有限的幾節(jié)英語課當中所學到的聽說訓練由于平時很少說英語,課堂上所學的英語句子除了早讀,其他時間也很難運用、復習和鞏固。 朗讀和背誦是提高學生英語口語能力和英語成績的有效途徑,也是必經(jīng)之路,也是克服當中國學生的“啞巴英語”的有效途徑。
因此,在初一,我們一定要重視朗讀和背誦。如果能抓住這個時機,學會大聲朗讀,積極背誦常用的句子、精彩段落和一些習慣用語,打好學習、運用英語的基礎。對初二、初三的學習將十分有益。很多學生之所以學不好英語,與在初一沒有打好朗讀和背誦的基礎有很大的關系。由于初一時不讀、不背,導致學過的單詞、短語記不得,不會讀,上了初二、初三,即使想學好英語,由于大量的單詞不會讀,而對英語望而卻步,逐漸喪失信心,終至放棄。
4、對所學知識進行整理歸納, 養(yǎng)成課后復習、鞏固的習慣
學知識,要掌握牢固,就要講究知識的疏理和歸納。這樣有利于將知識化零為整,形成自己的知識體系??鬃釉唬骸皩W而時習之”、“溫故而知新”。學過的東西,如果不及時復習,就會被遺忘。在復習時,要注意知識的重現(xiàn)率,加強新舊知識之間的聯(lián)系和對比,及時復習鞏固。復習是克服遺忘的最有效的方法,“運用”最能激發(fā)人的探索精神。語言的學習只有在運用中才能得以鞏固和提高。在復習某些詞語、句型時,造一個句子、寫一段互相聯(lián)系的短文。
根據(jù)艾賓浩斯遺忘規(guī)律,知識的遺忘在最初時最快,以后逐漸緩慢,最后將不怎么遺忘。記憶單詞是一個長時記憶的過程,有些學生說今晚背下的單詞第二天就忘,這是正常的。這就要求我們記憶單詞時既要及時又要經(jīng)常復習,不僅在當天,而且在第二天、一周后、一個月后、在你需要用它之前、在考試前都要安排復習。英語學習要戰(zhàn)勝“遺忘”,就不能忽視強化學習,即復習。它是把所學的知識條理化、系統(tǒng)化的過程??茖W的復習方法既鞏固了知識又增強了學習英語的興趣及信心。
5、養(yǎng)成科學記憶的習慣
英語學習,最讓學生頭痛的就是單詞的記憶,學生在學習中由于往往都是機械記憶、死記硬背又不善于鞏固復習,所以往往是熊瞎子掰玉米——掰一穗丟一穗,最終導致學習英語的興趣也丟失殆盡,那么在英語學習中如何能達到快速、準確記憶英語單詞呢?為此我介紹幾種記憶單詞的方法。
⑴ 語音規(guī)則記憶法
根據(jù)本課的新單詞,聯(lián)系舊單詞,總結讀音規(guī)則。如:在學新單詞時,總結出字母a的讀音規(guī)則。a在閉音節(jié)單詞cat, bag中是發(fā)[ ae], 在開音節(jié)單詞name, game中是發(fā)[ ei],含字母組合ar的單詞dark ,car, 等,復習字母a的發(fā)音規(guī)則和字母組合ar 發(fā)音規(guī)則。通過這樣的總結,就能順利地讀出單詞,漸漸也能寫出單詞。
⑵ 擴展聯(lián)想記憶法
在學生詞travel的時候可以聯(lián)想到表示旅行的交通工具,boat, bus , ship, plane, car, taxi, minibus and so on, 并且可以聯(lián)系by, take, on , in的用法。當學習動詞visit時,可想到一系列的與“看”有關的動詞或短語see, watch, read, look at, look after, take care of。久而久之,當你在看到一個房間的時候,就有可能想到desk, chair, broom, sofa, book等一系列的單詞。
⑶ 歸類集中記憶法
將所學過的單詞歸類集中:① 按歸屬范圍歸類,如文具類、蔬菜類、水果類、交通工具類、月份星期類;② 按詞的用法特點歸類,如帶雙賓語的動詞、帶賓語+賓語補足語的動詞、后接動詞不定式to do作賓語的動詞、后接動名詞doing作賓語的動詞、③ 按句型結構歸類,如“想干某事”可有如下句型:want to do sth。 , want sb to do sth。, want sth。, would like to do sth。④按字母組合歸類,如以字母組合ook 結尾的單詞有cook, book, look等;⑤ 按同義詞、反義詞進行歸類,如教a lot可以時引導學生一起將同義詞 many , much和反義詞 few, little 和 a few, a little對比記憶;⑥ 按同音詞歸類,eg。 Too 與two,hour與our, hear與here。
⑷ 構詞分組記憶法
利用構詞法可以迅速、準確地記憶單詞,增加詞匯量。 初二英語出現(xiàn)了一些有關構詞法的內(nèi)容。① 利用前綴,后綴了解與同根詞的聯(lián)系:如學過了writer, teacher, cleaner之后,引導學生依據(jù)他們的中文意思總結出后綴er在動詞后,表示…人; ② 利用分析復合詞的構成,理解性地記憶單詞:
A。名詞+名詞 = 名詞,eg。 basketball, weekend , raincoat
B。形容詞+名詞 = 名詞,eg。 supermarket, English,blackboard

課堂學習與課外學習應該相輔相承,行之有效的方法可以使學習事半功倍。因此要養(yǎng)成良好的課外學習習慣。首先要把握機會多聽、活學活用多說、拓寬視野多讀、勤于練筆多寫;學會正確使用工具書和詞典;合理安排預習和復習的時間。經(jīng)常收看簡單的電視英語節(jié)目如CCTV10的Outlook希望英語節(jié)目,閱讀適宜的課外讀物,擴大閱讀量,從而使課外知識成為課內(nèi)知識的有益補充。
最后建議牢記學好英語的原則
1。持之以恒,不能中斷,最忌一曝十寒;
2。勤學苦練 隨時記錄并背熟常用的句型;
