Thanks foryour letter and I can't wait for you to get to Guangzhou. As forgetting around the city don't worry so much. Guangzhou has anexcellent public transport system, with buses, trams and metrotrains that can take you anywhere you need to go. Best of all theyare very cheap and run all the time. We also have a new bicycleservice that lets you rent a bike anywhere in the city and leavethe bike where you like. It’s so easy. If youwant to travel outside the city to the countryside or suburbs wecan get around in my father’s car or we can evenuse one of the many online car-hire services available.

There aremany options available getting around Guangzhou. When you just wantto travel around the downtown area, I suggest that you hire astreet bike. They are everywhere and best of all when you finishyou can leave the bike where you like. We also have an excellentmetro system and bus service. I recommend that you avoid using thebuses as much as possible, as traffic jams are pretty common,especially during rush hour. The metro should be perfect for mostplaces.
