Those of you doing rock climbing put your hands up. Okay. You’d better go now because Sam is waiting for you. Off you go to the gym. That’s past the swimming pool and the car park. Oh, just a minute. At midday, make sure you come back here, I mean, to the library. And your group leader will take you off to lunch which is served at 12:30. Don’t be late because the afternoon lessons start at 1:30pm. Now the group doing horse riding. You have to wait at the main gate for lunch. Make sure you’re wearing either riding boots or strong shoes – not trainers. The bus will bring you back for lunch. And finally, those of you doing disco dancing. Your class will meet in the dancing club. That’s the building you can see through the trees on your right. Go straight in, through the music studio, past the practice rooms and up the stairs.
Oh, yes, one very important thing, food. If it’s fine, we shall eat outside and that means you have to collect your own picnic lunch from the dining room. Then in the evening we will have a barbecue and e ach group takes it in turn to cook for the whole camp.

Finchbrooke Country Park is 10 miles north of Hampton and it is the biggest and most wonderful park in Northern England.
There is a bus service to the park from the centre of the town, number 109, leaving every half an hour. For visitors coming by car, parking at Finchbrooke is free.
At the Visitors’ Centre, th ere’s a wide collection of books and videos for sale and maps are free. They show all the marked paths inside the park.
It is OK to camp in the forest and to go fishing on the lake. If you want more information about these activities, you can go to the Visitors’ Centre. By the way, visitors are not allowed to swim or skate on the lake.
The park is open six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. And the Visitors’ Centre is open between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The ticket for children under 12 is free and above 12 is￡2. The ticket for adults is￡4 each. We also have a family ticket for￡10, which includes 2 grown-ups and 3 children.
