提高英文閱讀速度的決竅

　　速讀，作為一種現(xiàn)象，古今中外，均已有之。我國古代，《北齊書》曾記載王孝瑜“讀書敏速，十行俱下”。前蘇聯(lián)大文豪高爾基看雜志，往往是“幾頁幾頁地翻”。經(jīng)科學(xué)地速讀訓(xùn)練，其讀速更大得驚人：日本加古德次先生精心訓(xùn)練的速讀能手長江美子，最快可達每分鐘讀20萬字。我國北京鐵路二中程 漢杰老師，臺北師專附小譚達士校長訓(xùn)練的學(xué)生其閱讀效率也是成倍、成數(shù)倍地增長。本模式實驗表明：學(xué)生 閱讀效率一般可提高4—5倍，達到1500字/分。大量經(jīng)驗表明，速讀能力同其他技能一樣：通過訓(xùn)練，才能提 高;通過有效的訓(xùn)練，就能迅速地提高。

　　Another way to improve your reading speed is to focus on the key words in the sentences. A significant amount of reading time is wasted on conjunctions, prepositions, or articles (i.e. a, an, the, but, and, or, nor, but, etc。)。
