我的GRE作文已經(jīng)考完了,由于很努力地準(zhǔn)備,導(dǎo)致考場(chǎng)上RP爆發(fā),Issue抽到超高頻,Argu是考試前最后一次模擬考試寫過的,所以考場(chǎng)上就是直接默寫。現(xiàn)在我把我以前在看帖子過程中收集到的考場(chǎng)上的兩個(gè)有用的小技巧貢獻(xiàn)給大家,請(qǐng)還沒考得同學(xué)注意了。

第一個(gè)是補(bǔ)習(xí)老師在他的課堂上透露的得小技巧,就是寫作文的界面上幾個(gè)按鈕中唯獨(dú)缺少“copy”功能,可以通過按兩次“cut”,然后再點(diǎn) “paste”來替代。在考場(chǎng)中這一招很有用,特別是Argu中,把前面打的觀點(diǎn),專有名詞直接粘貼,能節(jié)約3、4分鐘寶貴時(shí)間。

另外一個(gè)是我在太傻論壇一張不起眼的帖子上看到的。機(jī)考Issue前有一個(gè)適應(yīng)性練習(xí),規(guī)定不能超過30分鐘,讓考生熟悉軟件的用法并且填一張調(diào)查問卷。其中有一個(gè)部分是熟悉鍵盤的使用,但是我就按照前輩的做法,利用這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),先在鍵盤上狂敲了一遍Issue和argu的模板,然后把平常用但容易打錯(cuò)的單詞敲了幾遍。

大家可不要小看這個(gè)細(xì)節(jié),它能讓你迅速回憶起模板,進(jìn)入狀態(tài)。否則有的人本來就緊張,結(jié)果開始寫Issue時(shí)手就哆嗦。不過要注意控制好時(shí)間,前面部分不能超過規(guī)定的30分鐘。我當(dāng)時(shí)就興奮過了頭,幸好善良的監(jiān)考官?gòu)臄z像頭里看見過了二十多分鐘我還在練打字,趕緊跑過來叫我做后面的調(diào)查問卷。

GRE作文考試的流程

考生首先應(yīng)熟悉GRE作文考試的流程,一般情況下,考生從到達(dá)考場(chǎng)到考試完畢,通常分為以下六步:

第一、考生查考號(hào),領(lǐng)取柜子鑰匙和夾著紙的硬板,紙上是所要抄的誓言。聽完監(jiān)考老師講完注意事項(xiàng)后,就開始抄誓言,寫地址條(考生收信地址,英文格式和郵政編碼)。

第二、把隨身攜帶的所有東西(除了兩個(gè)證件之外)都存入柜子里。任何食品、飲料、滴眼液等與考試無(wú)關(guān)的物品都不允許帶入考場(chǎng)。注意:考試過程中是不允許脫衣服的,所以考生要視環(huán)境冷熱而行。

第三、監(jiān)考老師開始檢查考生的證件,發(fā)草稿紙(六張)。

第四、老師按號(hào)要求考生照相(對(duì)著攝像頭),核對(duì)姓名和地址之類的。然后考生進(jìn)考場(chǎng),耳塞都掛在電腦桌的隔板上,兩支鉛筆放在桌上。

第五、開始考試后,首先熟悉鍵盤和鼠標(biāo)和填寫背景調(diào)查(這兩個(gè)步驟都可以跳過),填寫兩個(gè)筆考考場(chǎng)。然后寫ISSUE和ARGUMENT。最后填寫送分學(xué)校。

第六、到了考場(chǎng)門口把草稿紙還給老師。

注:各個(gè)考場(chǎng)可能細(xì)節(jié)上不太一樣,考生們應(yīng)視具體情況而定。另外,考生還應(yīng)注意幾個(gè)問題。

注意問題一:必須帶好的證件

準(zhǔn)考證號(hào)是注冊(cè)時(shí)候發(fā)到郵箱里面的那封郵件上面的號(hào)碼,郵件不用打印出來,只要考試時(shí)記著號(hào)碼就可以。

參加GRE/GMAT考試的考生要攜帶兩類有效證件,其中至少有一個(gè)是第一類證件。第一類證件至少有一種是護(hù)照、正式居民身份證或軍官證.第二類證件可以是駕駛證、帶鋼印的工作證(不接受工作卡) 、往來港澳通行證、外國(guó)人居留證、港澳居民回鄉(xiāng)證或由正規(guī)大專院校頒發(fā)的學(xué)生證(不含五大:電視大學(xué)、夜大學(xué)、職業(yè)大學(xué)、業(yè)余大學(xué)、函授大學(xué);其他任何培訓(xùn)性質(zhì)的院?;蚺嘤?xùn)項(xiàng)目頒發(fā)任何形式的證書均不接受)。

缺少第二類證件,可到考生本人所在學(xué)校學(xué)生處、單位人事部門、戶籍所在地派出所、檔案所在人才交流中心、街道辦事處開具身份證明信(戶籍所在地派出所開具的證明信應(yīng)該是有照片、蓋有戶籍章的格式打印戶籍證明。其他證明信需有本人照片、本人簽字、本人身份證號(hào)碼,個(gè)人體貌特征描述和經(jīng)辦單位人事部門電話,經(jīng)辦人簽字,并且在照片上蓋有介紹單位的公章)。

按照ETS要求,考場(chǎng)不接受以下證件作為考試證件:(但不僅限于此):臨時(shí)證件(包括臨時(shí)身份證、臨時(shí)駕駛執(zhí)照、臨時(shí)工作證等),過期的證件(包括過期身份證、過期駕駛執(zhí)照、過期工作證等),國(guó)際駕駛執(zhí)照,社會(huì)保險(xiǎn)卡 ,任何信用卡 ,公證函 ,工作卡 ,出入證(卡)。

未按要求出示證件的考生,考場(chǎng)有權(quán)拒絕其參加考試。持任何假證件的考生不能參加考試。證件方面如果出現(xiàn)問題(例如身份證遺失)或者出現(xiàn)自己無(wú)法確定的情況,請(qǐng)千萬(wàn)提前打電話到考試中心詢問清楚相關(guān)事宜。

另注意,如果發(fā)生證件不全情況,考試中心會(huì)要求考生盡快拿回證件,但是一天只有2場(chǎng)考試,如果在最后一場(chǎng)考試開始后還沒有帶來,就不能再考試了。最后一場(chǎng)在上午11點(diǎn)到場(chǎng)。

提醒:請(qǐng)各位務(wù)必自行確認(rèn)有效證件,避免出現(xiàn)_放棄考試甚至全盤計(jì)劃被打亂,事后再后悔不迭的情況出現(xiàn)!

注意問題二:草稿紙的問題

進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)之后,工作人員會(huì)發(fā)給每一個(gè)考生兩支鉛筆,六張草稿紙。進(jìn)去之前一定要數(shù)一下確認(rèn)。六張草稿紙是釘在一起的,不要弄散,出來的時(shí)候要還回去,一張也不能少,發(fā)現(xiàn)少了會(huì)很麻煩。如果考場(chǎng)上不發(fā)草稿紙,可以給考點(diǎn)要索取。

注意不要在做問卷的時(shí)候?qū)懩0?。很多考生在做作文前的問卷調(diào)查時(shí)就在草稿紙上寫模板了,這是不允許的,會(huì)被視作作弊??忌梢赃m當(dāng)?shù)膶懸恍┨峋V,這樣會(huì)在寫作時(shí)有清晰的思路。

注意問題三:時(shí)間的分配

整個(gè)考試總共120分鐘。在最前面在電腦上填寫一些個(gè)人信息之類的,以及讓你熟悉界面,是45分鐘。 ISSUE 45分鐘,ARGUEMNT 30分鐘,這樣就是120分鐘。 ISSUE和ARGUMENT兩個(gè)部分之間沒有休息時(shí)間。

如果之前已經(jīng)用PP3模擬考過的,最前面那45分鐘的很多內(nèi)容都可以跳過去。但是跳過去的部分節(jié)省的時(shí)間不能算到作文里。一旦選擇結(jié)束這個(gè)調(diào)查和熟悉界面的部分,考試立即開始.,即看到作文題時(shí)記時(shí)已經(jīng)開始。所以審題和列提綱的時(shí)間都是在45/30分鐘內(nèi)。

另外,左下角有個(gè)倒記時(shí)的小鐘,前40分鐘可以點(diǎn)擊它,使左上角的數(shù)字倒計(jì)時(shí)消失。但最后5分鐘無(wú)論你愿意不愿意,左上角的倒計(jì)時(shí)都會(huì)出現(xiàn)。

注意問題四:考試時(shí)的界面是TXT

TXT只有復(fù)制剪切粘貼的功能,沒有WORD的糾錯(cuò)功能。雖然平時(shí)模考的pp3在windows下執(zhí)行的時(shí)候右鍵仍然可以用(因?yàn)槭俏谋究?,真正考試的時(shí)候鼠標(biāo)的左右鍵是完全一樣的,所以提醒慣用鼠標(biāo)右鍵進(jìn)行cut或者paste等操作的考生,平時(shí)準(zhǔn)備的時(shí)候要注意到這一點(diǎn),實(shí)際考試時(shí)沒有這種快捷鍵。

注意問題五:免費(fèi)寄成績(jī)的學(xué)校的填寫

考試前要想好確定自己要填哪幾所學(xué)校,哪個(gè)專業(yè)。學(xué)校的選擇是按國(guó)家、州、學(xué)校、專業(yè)來選的,所以考生只要知道學(xué)校的全稱和學(xué)校在哪個(gè)州。BULLETIN上也有學(xué)校代碼。雖然給出的選擇的州名不是全稱,但也不是兩個(gè)子母的縮寫,每個(gè)人只要知道州名的全稱都可以分辨出來那種形式州名的縮寫。如果實(shí)在不確定,可以向監(jiān)考老師詢問。建議考生選與自己水平適合的中等大學(xué),太好的先別選。

注意問題六:表和耳機(jī)

關(guān)于用來計(jì)時(shí)的表,如果你想帶進(jìn)考場(chǎng),一定要戴指針的,手機(jī)或其它電子計(jì)時(shí)器是不被允許的。

關(guān)于耳機(jī),各個(gè)考點(diǎn)所提供的耳機(jī)是不同的。建議大家開始就戴上耳機(jī),因?yàn)橹車须s的鍵盤聲和因錯(cuò)誤操作而產(chǎn)生的不絕于耳的“滴滴”聲可能會(huì)影響考生的情緒。

注意問題七:考完之后

筆考準(zhǔn)考證(AdmissionTicket)從美國(guó)ETS本部寄出,目前沒有明確的數(shù)據(jù)表明在作文考試幾天之后一定可以拿到準(zhǔn)考證。如果在筆考日期之前的2到3個(gè)禮拜仍沒有拿到準(zhǔn)考證,請(qǐng)立刻與ETS本部聯(lián)系。Email地址為:gre-info@ets.org。
