首先,覺得雅思聽力速度快,最傳統(tǒng)也是最有效的解決方法就是多聽。除了反復(fù)練耳朵,別無捷徑(No easy way)。
除此之外,建議平時大聲朗讀文章(read aloud),并且保持一定的速度。聽和說是密切聯(lián)系的,因此,快速的朗讀在一定程度上是可以促進(jìn)(promote)聽力水平的提高的。需要注意的是,朗讀時要記得考察自己的讀音是否正確標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(correct),否則適得其反。
其次,英語基礎(chǔ)的不牢固,對英語詞匯的辨識度不夠,所以要聽說結(jié)合,正確的發(fā)音(pronunciation)。
聽和說是息息相關(guān)的:聽力不好,口語(speaking)可能就不太好;反之亦然。很多時候,因為我們的發(fā)音不好甚至不對,句子重音移位甚至錯位,導(dǎo)致我們對本來是正確的英語句子和單詞產(chǎn)生了“無法辨識”的錯覺,大腦根本無法處理(deal with)這些信息,因為平時習(xí)慣了那些錯誤的聲音。就算能夠勉強調(diào)整(adjust)過來,聽力材料都已經(jīng)過了一大半了。
對于這一類原因,建議平時多跟讀正確的材料,例如各種新聞廣播(news broadcast),來達(dá)到糾正發(fā)音和練習(xí)聽力的雙重效果。此外,在平時做練習(xí)時有意識地將自己的發(fā)音與標(biāo)準(zhǔn)發(fā)音有出入的詞記下來并強化訓(xùn)練,保證以后不再有類似錯誤(mistakes)。
最后,就是英語詞匯量(vocabulary)不夠,所以想要提高雅思聽力速度,就要背誦單詞了。
很多考生有這樣的經(jīng)歷,單詞聽到了,理解了,就是寫不出來。這是因為單詞的形體和讀音之間還沒有建立起穩(wěn)定的聯(lián)系(stable connection)。
對于這種情況,一是要在平時記單詞的時候大聲朗讀(注意保證讀音的質(zhì)量),通過綜合刺激形成穩(wěn)固印象(expression);二是平時練習(xí)時多搜集此類聽得懂但寫不出的詞。

這道Section 1的填空題如果是放在閱讀題中的話答案是非常明顯的,可以說完全就是送分題,但是在聽力中就搖身一變,成了一道很容易丟分的題目。
相信大家如果是看到”rather than”肯定不難知道它的意思是“而不是”,不過在做聽力題的時候我們的耳朵往往會忽略它或者是聽到之后大腦中反應(yīng)不過來它的轉(zhuǎn)折或否定含義從而直接填了front這個單詞。其實當(dāng)我們聽題時準(zhǔn)確抓出rather than 之后,就可以很輕松的填出stage這個答案了。
的不是大家的詞匯量,而是對常見轉(zhuǎn)折信號詞的積累以及耳朵對于rather than 這個發(fā)音的敏感度,特別是than 的弱讀[?(?)n] ,這樣在聽題的過程中才能抓住重點。
常見的轉(zhuǎn)折信號詞有but, however, although , despite, inspite of, instead of 等, 另外, 否定詞其實也是轉(zhuǎn)折信號的一種,同學(xué)們在聽的時候一定要注意其中一些詞的發(fā)音特點,例如wouldn't這個詞真正在句子中很多情況下d和t都是不發(fā)音的。
