Chinahas a very long and brilliant history, whose people are so friendly and hospitable. But I am wondering why some people pay such little attention to the environment and nature. In many places of the countryside, rivers have become stinking sewers and brooks have disappeared. Heaps of garbage obstructs the scarce flow of dirty water. The grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. People are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. In some towns, rubbish is hidden behind walls. Garbage cans are often of little use, making cleaners must rush all day long and also by night to clean the rubbish.
中國(guó)有著悠久輝煌的歷史，人民十分友善好客。但是我很好奇為什么有些人對(duì)自然和環(huán)境那么不在乎。在鄉(xiāng)下的很多地方，河流已經(jīng)變成臭哄哄的下水道，小溪也消失了。成堆的垃圾阻礙了污水難得的流動(dòng)，地面上到處是丟棄的塑料瓶和塑料袋。盡管亂砍濫伐是違法的人們還是砍倒樹(shù)木。在一些鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)，垃圾就隱藏在墻后面。垃圾箱基本上沒(méi)起到作用，使得清潔工人必須整天日日夜夜來(lái)回清理垃圾。
This lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to children's education, toChina's image, to public health, to tourism and to the future.Chinais the common treasure of all Chinese, and we should live up to be a member of this big family, a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country. I think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. This protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation.
這種缺乏考慮大自然的行為一般都會(huì)對(duì)孩子的教育，對(duì)中國(guó)的形象，對(duì)公眾的健康，對(duì)游客以及對(duì)未來(lái)很不利。中國(guó)是所有中國(guó)人共有的寶貴財(cái)富，我們必須成為這個(gè)大家庭中合格的一員，成為5000年古老文明的國(guó)家的子孫。我認(rèn)為必須想方設(shè)法嚴(yán)格的保護(hù)環(huán)境，這種保護(hù)應(yīng)該與國(guó)家的快速發(fā)展的步伐相一致。
In this respect,Germanyis a rare model and leaves me a very deep impression. After you have an exciting tour around in this country for a week or so, it is unnecessary for you to polish your leather shoes. With the development of economy, there are more and more vehicles on the streets. Governments at all levels have to do something to solve the problem of heavy traffic in the city.
隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，道路上的汽車(chē)越來(lái)越多了。各級(jí)政府必須做些事情來(lái)解決城市擁堵的交通問(wèn)題。
I would like to share with you some ideas about this problem: firstly, the government should build more roads. This action can decrease the degree of street congestion and make it possible for cars to run faster than ever before. But each coin has two sides. If a city builds too many roads, the streets will occupy much land. We will have little space used for other purposes. So secondly, more special bus lines for public transportation should be added. Thus people can go conveniently everywhere they like; they will not ride bikes or drive cars. In this way, the number of cars and bikes on the road will be greatly cut down.
我想與大家分享我對(duì)這個(gè)問(wèn)題的一些看法。首先，政府應(yīng)該修建更多的公路。這一舉措能夠減輕街道擁堵程度，使汽車(chē)能夠比以前跑得更快。但是，每件事都有利弊。如果一個(gè)城市修建太多的公路，過(guò)多的街道就會(huì)被占用，用作其他用途的空間就很少。其次，應(yīng)該增加更多特殊的公共交通線路。這樣一來(lái)，人們就方便行走到他們想要去的任何地方;他們就不用騎自行車(chē)或者開(kāi)車(chē)。通過(guò)這個(gè)方法，公路上汽車(chē)和自行車(chē)的數(shù)量就會(huì)大大減少。
As far as I am concerned, if we want to solve this problem, we should set up an idea of public transportation first and give a priority to this idea in our traffic work.
在我看來(lái)，如果我們想要解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題，我們就應(yīng)該首先樹(shù)立公共交通的想法，在交通上首選公共交通。
