I love to travel the world.Through all my travels I have seen many grand sights and sounds,and every one of them was unforgettable.However,of all the places I've seen,the city of Hong Kong left the deepest impression in my mind.It was an wonderful experience seeing a city so close yet so different.Hong Kong with its mixture of different peoples from different backgrounds is a change from my hometown,its impressive high rise buildings and the kindness of it inhabitants were awe-inspiring.The city lights at night rivaled any fireworks display I've ever seen.My time there has shown that we as citizens of the planet can indeed come together,live in peace and through our combined effort achieve great things.

One day I was on a bus. I found an elderly woman standing in front of me. She had a big bag in her hand. "It's a virtue for a young person to help the old,"I said to myself. When I was standing up to give my seat to the old lady, a young foreigner got up quickly saying, "Please sit down."The old lady thanked him and sat down. She looked very happy.
一天，我在一輛公共汽車上。我發(fā)現(xiàn)一位年長的婦人站在我的面前，她手里拿了個(gè)大包。“幫助老人是年輕人的美德。”我對自己說。當(dāng)我正要站起來把自己的座位讓給那位老婦人時(shí)，一個(gè)年輕的外國人很快站了起來，說：“請這里坐。”老婦人謝謝他，然后坐下，她看上去非常高興。
I was a little embarrassed because I was sitting in the middle of the bus.Suddenly a pregnant woman got onto the bus. I quickly stood up to give up my seat to her. Theforeigner smiled at me. He said that he was an Australian, and was a student studying Chinese culture in China.

The emergence of computer brings great changes to modern people’ life, only move fingers, we could understand the latest information of the world. Computer could deal with a lot of things for us, such as financial management, office work, making friends. However, with the widespread use of much communication software like micro blog, QQ, some people think computer reduces the chance for people to communicate face-to-face, and makes people feel lonely. For the opinion, I disagree.
電腦的出現(xiàn)對現(xiàn)代人的生活帶來極大的改變，我們只要動動手指頭，就能了解全球最新的信息，我們可以用電腦處理很多事，如理財(cái)，辦公，交友。然而隨著微博，QQ等交流軟件的普遍運(yùn)用，很多人認(rèn)為電腦減少人與人面對面的交流機(jī)會，讓人越來越孤獨(dú)。對于這個(gè)觀點(diǎn)我并不同意。
First of all, a lot of people are addicted to the computer; they like to watch TV, play online games instead of going out with friends. For many young people, after school or work, the first thing they are going to do is open computer. Virtual world brings greater emptiness, so the more people obsession with computers the more loneness they will feel. However, the development of science and technology is a two-edged weapon, which inevitably has advantage and disadvantage. Computer just is a communication tool. It can't be used as an excuse of making people lonely. It provides us more opportunity to get in touch with people from all walks of society, as long as open a computer, people can chat with others. But if a person doesn't want to get along with others, even if he communicates with others face to face, he will never eliminate loneliness.
首先，很多人沉迷于電腦，他們喜歡上網(wǎng)看電視劇，玩游戲勝過出門與朋友見面。對很多年輕人而言，放學(xué)或下班后的第一件事就是打開電腦。虛擬世界往往給人們帶來更大的空虛感，所以人們對電腦越癡迷，就會覺得越孤單。然而科技發(fā)展是一把雙刃刀，有好處也有壞處，電腦只是一個(gè)交流工具，它不能成為使人孤獨(dú)的借口。電腦為我們提供來自不同階層的人交流的機(jī)會，只要打開電腦，就可以交流。但若一個(gè)人根本不想與別人相處，即使他跟別人面對面交流，孤獨(dú)感也不會消除。
To sum up, the reason why people feel lonely is mixture of many causes, if there is no computer and network, we actually feel even more isolated.
總而言之，人們的孤獨(dú)感是有各種各樣的原因共同造成的，如果現(xiàn)在沒有電腦和網(wǎng)絡(luò)，我們反而感到更加孤立。
