On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.
The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

早晨，我剛剛起床，人就異常興奮。因為今天是八月十五號，一年一度的中秋節(jié)終于來了。今天一大清早，爸爸媽媽還有我就一起到超市買菜，月餅等食物。 下午爸爸媽媽都在廚房里忙著殺雞，殺魚，切肉，切菜，忙的真是不亦樂乎。
吃晚飯的時候，我埋頭吃飯，簡直有點狼吞虎咽似的。不一會兒，我就第一個吃好了飯。我馬上去做好了賞月的準(zhǔn)備工作。
等啊等，等啊等，我始終沒能揭開月亮神奇的面紗。不禁讓我想起了嫦娥奔月的故事，人們是為了紀(jì)念嫦娥才將八月十五定為了人們企盼團(tuán)圓的中秋佳節(jié)。還令我想起了一首膾炙人口的名詩靜夜思:床前明月光，疑是地上霜。舉頭望明月，低頭思故鄉(xiāng)。這首詩表現(xiàn)了詩人李白思念家鄉(xiāng)的感情。使我不時想起了駐守邊疆的戰(zhàn)士在中秋節(jié)這個日子里不能與家人團(tuán)聚。
這月亮怎么還不現(xiàn)出真面目，我想一睹書中所說:多么圓，亮，大，美麗的中秋月亮啊!我百思不得其解的去詢問家長，原來我的是受第13號臺風(fēng)“森拉克”的影響。雖然今天沒能如我所愿的看到中秋節(jié)的月亮，但是我還是十分開心。

到了晚上，媽媽燒了很多菜，有我最喜歡吃的雞爪。早早地吃了飯，我們在一起看電視、吃月餅。我一會兒看電視，一會兒跑到陽臺上看月亮。
無邊無際的天空中掛著一面又大又圓的月亮，像一個淡黃色的大玉盤，散發(fā)著銀色的柔光，照著大地。觀賞著月亮，一陣涼爽的風(fēng)吹來，讓人非常舒服。

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, usually in October in Gregorian calendar.
The festival has a long history. In ancient China, emperors followed the rite of offering sacrifices to the sun in spring and to the moon in autumn. Historical books of the Zhou Dynasty had had the word "Mid-Autumn". Later aristocrats and literary figures helped expand the ceremony to common people. They enjoyed the full, bright moon on that day, worshipped it and expressed their thoughts and feelings under it. By the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Mid-Autumn Festival had been fixed, which became even grander in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). In the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, it grew to be a major festival of China.
People in different places follow various customs, but all show their love and longing for a better life. Today people will enjoy the full moon and eat moon cakes on that day.
The moon looks extremely round, big and bright on the 15th day of each lunar month. People selected the August 15 to celebrate because it is a season when crops and fruits are all ripe and weather pleasant. 拉開窗簾，我才發(fā)現(xiàn)：今晚出來的小星星很少，只有一顆孤零零的在上面，陪伴著月亮。我猜想，一定是月亮姐姐和小星星們在玩捉迷藏。但是，小星星都很聰明，躲到了像墨汁一樣的烏云后面。因此月亮姐姐就找不到他們，只有一個調(diào)皮的小星星說話聲音太大了，所以才被抓了出來。
再看看月亮，今晚果然很圓很圓，在黑布一樣的天空中發(fā)出自己的光芒。“咦，月亮上面怎么有幾個身影在動?”我仔細(xì)看了看月亮，奇怪地想，但是，我馬上又明白了：“一定是第六屆書香班級乘著月光來到了月亮上，和嫦娥、玉兔以及吳剛在吃月餅?zāi)?”他們多開心啊，談笑風(fēng)生，第六屆書香班級還說了不少校訊通的新鮮事呢!
我不禁想起了這幾句詩詞：“明月幾時有，把酒問青天。不知天上宮闕，今夕是何年……”突然，嫦娥臉色一沉。我猜，她一定是想起后羿了吧。她肯定后悔當(dāng)年偷吃了所有的不死藥，結(jié)果落得現(xiàn)在只能每夜思念著他，卻不能與他相見。紅塵滾滾，世事蒼蒼，這就是一念之差。
吳剛和第六屆書香班級連忙勸嫦娥，讓她不要再傷心了。吳剛還拿出一些柴火來，在月亮上點燃了一堆明亮的篝火。但是，他從哪里得到的柴火呢?可能是蒼天被他那種堅持不懈的精神給打動了，所以讓他砍倒了廣寒宮門口那棵大桂樹吧。我正想得入迷，突然，只聽媽媽大喊道：“豪豪，快去睡覺，你已經(jīng)看了半個小時了!”
母命不能不從，我只好上床睡覺，但心里還一直惦記著月亮。月亮啊月亮……
