Tonight I watched the movie for the third time. I really enjoy this film so much.

So what's your choice between being a common person or a hero with people's reects? Most people will choose the latter. But what will be your choice if the cost is laying your lover among the risks? What will it be if the cost is you can never tell the girl, who you love so much, that you love her? The ider man had this contradiction. But finally he still chose the latter, not in order to be a hero, but to make this word peaceful.

I was so moved by the words the Aunt Mary said:

You will never guess what he wants to be, the ider man. He knows the hero when he sees one, too a few characters out there, flying all around out there, saving old girls like me. Lord knows kids like Henry need hero courageous, sacrificing for people, setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People enthrone them, cheer them, scream their names and years later they will tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse the one who taught them to hold on to stand longer. I believe there is a hero in all of us. They keep us be honest, give us strength, make us noble, and finally allow us to die with proud. Ever though sometimes we have to initiatively give up the thing we want most, even our dreams. Spider man did that for Henry, so he wants to know where he is gone. He needs him.

The ider man got much from these words, so did I. And what about you? what's the hero lying in you?

Jane Eyre is a first-person narrative of the title character, a small, plain-faced, intelligent and honest English orphan.

The novel goes through five distinct stages: Jane's childhood at Gateshead, where she is abused by her aunt and cousins; her education at Lowood School, where she acquires friends and role models but also suffers privations; her time as the governess of Thornfield Manor, where she falls in love with her Byronic employer, Edward Rochester; her time with the Rivers family at Marsh's End (or Moor House) and Morton, where her cold clergyman-cousin St John Rivers proposes to her; and her reunion with and marriage to her beloved Rochester at his house of Ferndean.

Partly autobiographical, the novel abounds with social criticism and sinister gothic elements.

My first impression of this story was from screen.

It's long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I don't remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It's pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine, though I didn't think she's beautiful. But she's smart. However, I didn't pay much attention to the plot. I thought it's so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven't read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didn't understand the story at that time. I didn't know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn't find where' s the prejudice. I thought it's normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. I'm a prejudiced person so I can't find where's wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

It took me a week to read a book encouraging morale, called "the old man and the sea". I greatly admire, San Diego, the old man, if you read the story below, maybe you would like me to admire him.

This time, he met a pair of feet was eighteen feet long and is greater than he, he told the big silver fish (marlin) filled with admiration and respect, at the same time, the more aroused the determination to San Diego to challenge it. Big fish and the old man silently confrontation, sometimes take the ship to the deep sea, alternately circling boats, and want to use set off waves of the boat upset... Old man and big fish fight for two days and two nights, in the process, he constantly and fish, birds and sea dialogue, constant to or when they remember past events. With indomitable willpower and strong faith, he finally held up, conquered the behemoth. Unexpected is that the old man is going to pull the marlin back, large Numbers of sharks are attracted to over eat bundle of marlin on the boat. Although exhausted, San Diego, the old man go to great lengths to fight with sharks, but still being in that big fish shark bite only a empty frame. In the end, the San Diego old man dragged the vast empty skeleton back to the shore.

Old man of the spirit and idea of on their own, the lampholder support, he finally defeated the big fish, also defeated failure, defeated himself. We also should have this spirit in learning, such as difficulties in math, you should learn more, do not easily give up.

A singular notion dawned upon me. I doubted not—never doubted – that if Mr. Reed had been alive he would have treated me kindly; and now, as I sat looking at the white bed and overshadowed walls – occasionally also turning a fascinated eye towards the dimly gleaming mirror—I began to recall what I had heard of dead men, troubled in their graves by the violation of their last wishes, revising the earth to punish the perjured and avenge the oppressed; and I thought Mr. Reed's spirit, harassed by the wrong of his sister's child, might quit its abode—whether in the church vault or in the unknown world of the departed – and rise before me in this chamber. I wiped my tears and hushed my sobs, fearful lest any sign of violent grief might waken a preternatural voice to comfort me, or elicit from the gloom some haloed face, bending over me with strange pity.

This idea, consolatory in theory I felt would be terrible if realized: with all my might I endeavored to stifle it—I endeavored to be firm. Shaking my hair from my eyes, I lifted my head and tried to look boldly around the dark room; at this moment a light gleamed on the wall.

Was it, I asked myself, a ray from the moon penetrating some aperture in the blind? No; moonlight was still, and this stirred; while I gazed, it glided up to the ceiling and quivered over my head. I can now conjecture readily that this streak of light was, in all likelihood, a gleam from a lantern carried by some one acrothe lawn; but then, prepared as my mind was for horror, shaken as my nerves were by agitation, I thought the swift-darting beam was a herald of some coming vision from another world. My heart beat thick, my head grew hot; a sound filled my ears, which I deemed the rushing of wings; something seemed near me; I was oppressed, suffocated: endurance broke down; I rushed to the door and shook the lock in desperate effort. Steps came running along the outer passage; the key turned, Bessie and Abbot entered.

"love" in the history of english literature is handed down as a classic, it has successfully shaped the history of english literature first on love, life, society and religion, have taken a stand on one's own initiative and dare to struggle, dare to fight for free and equal status of women.

almost all women love foreign literature, like d charlotte's "in love".if we think that charlotte is only just to write this section of tangled up love to write "love".i think, sorry, that's not correct.the author also is a female, living in turbulent england in the middle of the nineteenth century, when the thoughts have a brand new start.and in "jane love" in infiltration is the largest such thoughts -- women's sense of independence.let us imagine, if jane love independent, has been killed in his childhood; if she did not share the independent, she already and wife rochester to live together, began to have money, a new life; if she is not that the purity, we are now in the hands of "jane love" is no longer a touching tears classic.so, i began to think, why "jane love" let us be moved, fondle admiringly -- she is independent personality, beckoning personality charm.

however, we can't help wanting to ask, only this step can be independent?i think i won't.after all, women's independence is a long-term process, not accomplish at one stroke.it needs a thorough courage, love was like jane decided to leave rochester, need "wind rustling xi the yi river is so cold, strong earth to did not return" heroic and courage.i think, this should be the most crucial one step, also should be the decisive step towards independence.and charlotte's jane love but her stubborn disposition, independent personality left us a moved.so she is successful, happy women.
