　　First Class in College

　　大學(xué)第一課 步入“象牙塔”， 驚喜與沖動(dòng)過(guò)后， 你的心境竟如此地迷茫： “我的大學(xué)怎么過(guò)?” 請(qǐng)看能夠改變你人生的第一堂課—

　　With the same dream and the same desire, we have come together from every part of the countryand from many different areas. Facing innumerable strange faces, I realized that I’ve been a collegestudent, a student who just started in society and a big child who should have known how to takecare of himself.

　　The first two days

　　The college had us do our military training for the first two weeks. In fact, I have done militarytraining several times; each time leaves a wonderful memory. Although we just have had two daysof the military training till now, it is a time to be real.

　　It was raining for two days. Sometimes I even felt proud when the rain ran down my cheeks. Maybeit was a sense of achievement that growth has given to me. Because we were wet all over, ourcompany commander let us sing Sailor, a song sung several hundred times before. However, giventhe special situation, the song seems so good for it and makes us think. Yes, the song delivers akind of spirit, a state of mind, a kind of courage unafraid of work or getting work. The companycommander teaches us again and again. Do they only teach us these simple acts? No! They areteaching us a way of being a man and an attitude of doing things. That’s what we lack. We shouldseize the uncommon chance and forge ourselves to be a useful man, a firm and persistent man!

　　The sunshine always comes after the storm and is waiting for us. We are expecting sunshine as well.The sun will shine again after rain.

　　Be browned, but healthier

　　“We have to get up at around 5 o’clock, suffering from not enough sleep. The training is so intense,which gave me a bad appetite. But then, I’m much healthier. You can see from my face…” Ayounger school sister said with a forced smile. Yeah, her face is browned by the sun, and seemsthinner than before. The ten days training is really practical. Though it is the last day of the militarytraining, you cannot see any tiredness from the smiling faces in the training field; they seem readyand happy…”

　　Drill, just this word

　　In the burning sun, we repeated the simple and boring “At ease” and “Attention”; in the cool rain ofmorning, we practiced March, Double time march and shouted loud and clear slogans; in the blowingsand, we drilled each motion of corps fist time after time… The ten days military training could bedescribed as suffering. Besides, none of our drillmasters still has a good voice now. It’s reallyuncomfortable to be trained in the Assembly ground, the flaming sun shining on the ground andyou couldn’t see any shady or a cool place. Moreover, the purpose of military training is to not onlybe trained like a soldier, but also to learn to be patient, insistent, share happiness and pain andchange to any environment. A freshman said, “What’s military training? Drill, just this word!”

　　Drillmasters also crazy

　　Encouraged by the drillmasters, the students have become crazy to “Sing a song, sing a song!”Thereupon, Qinghai-Tibet Platean (Qingzang Gaoyuan) flew over here, Beautiful Grassland won aburst of applause there. “Zhou Jielun” has just been finished, “Cousin Lin” was heard… All kinds offlavor, both classical and popular at the same time. The ground was full of songs and laughter. Asone stops, another starts. It’s really lovely and busy! The drillmasters also became crazy with thestudents instead of seriousness as usual. They acted in command for a while, then became aguest compere… The students wouldn’t let their drillmaster go at this moment. “Drill master, sing asong! Sing a song!” With that, the drillmaster showed off his skill and won a loud applause.

　　Go by the reviewing stand

　　With full spirit, orderly march, and confident smile on their faces, tens of S-bands went by thereviewing stand, shouting loud and clear slogans. The leaders and teachers of the college sent theman ardent look and they also received a burst of applause. A parent of a freshman from Jiangsu,seeing his child going by with orderly march from the platform, said happily, “I can set my heart atrest and go home tomorrow. It’s the first time our son leaves home, I wasn’t sure that he wouldchange with college life. But from his performance today I know he progressed a lot. Thedrillmasters paid great effort and the children also did. I’m assured now!”

　　Time to say goodbye

　　Although the students often complained during the training, they didn’t like to say goodbye to eachother when it was time to say goodbye to the military training and their beloved drillmasters. “Ireally don’t want to go! We will truly start our college life tomorrow. That is a happy thing. I musttake a photo with my drillmaster to remember the experience.” So the younger school-brothers andschool-sisters began looking for the drillmasters.

　　Military training is such an unforgettable experience; it’s a memory worthy of treasuring for ever.

　　Going through the military training, we learned to be quiet, to think, to be calm and peaceful. Wedon’t want to dream of what will come tomorrow. The important thing is to live each day well. So Iam looking for a new sun. I believe the future scenery must be beautiful.

　　軍訓(xùn)前兩天

　　前兩周學(xué)校安排我們軍訓(xùn)，其實(shí)軍訓(xùn)我以往參加過(guò)好幾次了，每一次都會(huì)給我留下精彩的回憶。雖然這次軍訓(xùn)到目前為止才進(jìn)行了兩天，但這是實(shí)實(shí)在在的兩天軍訓(xùn)生活。

　　兩天以來(lái)一直是陰雨綿綿，有時(shí)候感覺(jué)雨水從臉頰流下是一種自豪，這也許是成長(zhǎng)帶給人的一種成就感吧!因?yàn)橛晁呀溉?，于是連長(zhǎng)讓我們唱《水手》，唱了幾百遍的歌，在特定的場(chǎng)合、特定的情景唱竟是那么恰到好處，而又耐人尋味。是的，這首歌表達(dá)了一種精神，一種心境，一種不怕吃苦、不怕累的勇氣。教官一遍遍地教，我們一遍遍地練，他們難道在教我們幾個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的動(dòng)作么?這分明是在身教一種做人的方法，干事的態(tài)度，而這不正是我們一直所缺乏的么?我們要抓住這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)，這個(gè)難得的機(jī)會(huì)，把自己鍛煉成一個(gè)有用的人，一個(gè)堅(jiān)毅的人!

　　陽(yáng)光總在風(fēng)雨后，陽(yáng)光在等待我們，我們同樣期待著陽(yáng)光，期待著雨過(guò)天晴。

　　曬黑了，也健康了

　　“每天五點(diǎn)來(lái)鐘就得起床，睡眠不足，訓(xùn)練緊張，胃口不好。不過(guò)，我倒是越來(lái)越健康了，你看我這臉……”一位小師妹苦笑著說(shuō)。的確，臉是曬黑了，人也瘦了一圈，這十來(lái)天的軍訓(xùn)不是玩虛的。不過(guò)雖是軍訓(xùn)的最后一天，在軍訓(xùn)場(chǎng)上的卻是一張張絲毫沒(méi)有倦怠的笑臉，依舊神采飛揚(yáng)……

　　練，就這一個(gè)字

　　在烈日下，重復(fù)著簡(jiǎn)單而枯燥的稍息、立正，在清晨微涼的雨中，齊步走、跑步走，喊著嘹亮的口號(hào)，在飛揚(yáng)的沙土中，反復(fù)操練著軍體拳的一招一式……，這十來(lái)天的軍訓(xùn)生活真可謂煎熬。而教官們也幾乎沒(méi)有一個(gè)還是好嗓子。在集合場(chǎng)地上訓(xùn)練的滋味的確不好受，毒辣辣的陽(yáng)光肆虐掃蕩，一片陰涼的休息地也沒(méi)留下。而我們軍訓(xùn)的目的就是要從這大學(xué)第一課中，不僅要練出個(gè)“軍人樣”，還要學(xué)會(huì)忍耐，學(xué)會(huì)堅(jiān)持，學(xué)會(huì)同甘共苦，學(xué)會(huì)適應(yīng)。“軍訓(xùn)是什么?練，就這一個(gè)字!”一位新生說(shuō)道。

　　教官也“瘋狂”

　　在教官的鼓動(dòng)下，同學(xué)們“放肆”地拉起歌來(lái)。“來(lái)一個(gè)!來(lái)一個(gè)!”“冬瓜皮，西瓜皮，不唱就是耍賴皮!”于是，《青藏高原》從這邊拔地而起，那邊《美麗的草原》贏得陣陣掌聲，“周杰倫”才唱罷，“林妹妹”又登場(chǎng)……各地風(fēng)味，經(jīng)典流行，齊聚一堂，歌聲、笑聲，此起彼伏，好不熱鬧!而此時(shí)教官也一改往日的一臉嚴(yán)肅，和同學(xué)們一起“瘋狂”起來(lái)：一會(huì)兒擔(dān)當(dāng)指揮，一會(huì)兒客串主持……。同學(xué)們自然也不放過(guò)教官，“教官，來(lái)一個(gè)!來(lái)一個(gè)!”教官們大大方方露一手，雷鳴般的掌聲又再次回蕩在訓(xùn)練場(chǎng)上。

　　走過(guò)檢閱臺(tái)

　　當(dāng)數(shù)十個(gè)方隊(duì)以飽滿的精神、整齊的步伐，面帶自信的微笑，高喊著嘹亮的口號(hào)，從檢閱臺(tái)走過(guò)時(shí)，看臺(tái)這邊迎接他們的是校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和老師們殷切的目光和一陣陣熱烈的掌聲。一位江蘇新生的家長(zhǎng)，看著自己的孩子在隊(duì)列中，步伐整齊地走過(guò)，欣慰地說(shuō)：“明天我可以放心的回家了。這是孩子第一次離開(kāi)我們，真不放心他會(huì)不適應(yīng)大學(xué)生活。不過(guò)看他今天的表現(xiàn)，確實(shí)有很大的進(jìn)步，教官們付出了很大的心血，孩子也堅(jiān)持下來(lái)了，我放心了!”

　　依依惜別情

　　雖然在軍訓(xùn)過(guò)程中，同學(xué)們老愛(ài)抱怨，但到了要和軍訓(xùn)暫別與教官說(shuō)再見(jiàn)時(shí)，大家真還有些依依惜別之情。“真有些不想離開(kāi)啊!從明天起，我們就要正式開(kāi)始大學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)生活了。這的確是一件很快樂(lè)的事。我得和教官拍個(gè)照，留做紀(jì)念!”小師弟、小師妹們開(kāi)始“搶”起教官來(lái)。

　　軍訓(xùn)就是這么一段難以忘懷的經(jīng)歷，一份值得永遠(yuǎn)珍藏的回憶。

　　走過(guò)軍訓(xùn)，多了一份沉靜，多了一份思索，也多了一份坦然與平和。我們不再遙想明日的輝煌，重要的是過(guò)好每一個(gè)今天。于是，我不停地追趕新一輪的太陽(yáng)。我想，未來(lái)的風(fēng)景一定很美。
