Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.
The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

這幾年我們的長(zhǎng)江、黃河上游的人們砍伐樹木，不保護(hù)環(huán)境，使得長(zhǎng)江、黃河上游的水和土壤流失的很厲害，長(zhǎng)江下游經(jīng)常發(fā)洪水，黃河的水里有好多泥沙。我們新疆的塔里木河是我國(guó)最長(zhǎng)的內(nèi)陸河，塔里木河岸邊的胡楊林是可以用來吸住泥土不會(huì)出現(xiàn)沙塵暴，可是人們?cè)谒锬竞拥纳嫌未竺娣e開荒截水使得下游河水干枯，造成上百萬(wàn)畝的胡楊林死亡。至使本來就很貧瘠的土地，更加沙漠化。我們?yōu)豸斈君R的人家做飯、取暖的煙囪冒出來的黑煙和汽車尾氣的大量排放使的空氣被污染。使烏魯木齊的冬天看不到藍(lán)天，雪也是黑的。
我在電視看見韓國(guó)的飯店用的筷子都是金屬做的，可以反復(fù)用?？墒窃谖覀儑?guó)家大大小小的飯店全是用的一次性筷子，據(jù)我了解一棵生長(zhǎng)五十年的樺樹只夠十家飯店一天用的筷子的數(shù)量，中國(guó)有多少家飯店?一天要用多少棵樺樹啊!!

今天，我就讓大家來看看應(yīng)該怎樣保護(hù)環(huán)境。有些人可能會(huì)說：在城市里放幾塊宣傳保護(hù)環(huán)境的牌子不就好了嗎，其實(shí)，這種想法是錯(cuò)誤的。有人可能會(huì)說了：這不是在宣傳保護(hù)環(huán)境嗎?當(dāng)然不是，因?yàn)檫@里有兩點(diǎn)原因：1，有一些人有可能每天都不看牌子，所以就不會(huì)加入到保護(hù)環(huán)境的隊(duì)伍中去。習(xí)慣差的，還有可能繼續(xù)破壞環(huán)境。2，那個(gè)人看是看了，但他不想加入到這個(gè)行列中去或是根本就不想保護(hù)環(huán)境。從這兩點(diǎn)可以說明光是幾塊宣傳的牌子是沒用的。哪有人可能會(huì)急切地問道：那該怎么辦!辦法很簡(jiǎn)單，只要自己要保護(hù)環(huán)境的信心，自己身邊的人也會(huì)跟著做的!
保護(hù)環(huán)境第一步：自己學(xué)會(huì)保護(hù)環(huán)境。要求：自己要自覺地保護(hù)環(huán)境，不能連自己都在破壞環(huán)境，這樣你就連管別人的要求都達(dá)不到了。保護(hù)環(huán)境第二步：勸告別人保護(hù)環(huán)境。要求：如果見別人亂扔垃圾或吐痰等，應(yīng)該立即上去勸阻。當(dāng)然自己也要管得知自己?jiǎn)?保護(hù)環(huán)境第三步：讓一個(gè)集體保護(hù)環(huán)境。要求：讓幾十個(gè)人并成一個(gè)集體，并保護(hù)環(huán)境。如果你這三點(diǎn)都做到了，那你就是一個(gè)“保護(hù)環(huán)境小衛(wèi)士”了!
