阿肯(Akon)，1973年4月30日出生于非洲塞內(nèi)加爾，美國歌手。阿肯于2004年憑首張專輯《Trouble》中的單曲《Locked Up》而開始受到關(guān)注，其后的專輯《Konvicted》中的單曲《Smack That》更令他獲得格萊美獎提名。2007年12月，阿肯憑借與格雯·斯蒂凡妮合作的單曲《The Sweet Escape》獲得第50屆格萊美獎最佳流行合唱提名[1] 。2011年9月，第63屆美國電視艾美獎揭曉，阿肯登臺獻唱。

Akon【阿肯】出生在非洲西部的塞內(nèi)加爾，后隨父母來到美國的新澤西定居。新澤西這片土地給了Akon創(chuàng)作hip-hop音樂的靈感，但也同是在這片土地上，Akon因偷車罪經(jīng)歷了三年的牢獄生活。
監(jiān)獄生活中，Akon沒有放棄對音樂的追求，把大部分時間用在了hip-hop音樂創(chuàng)作上，并終于在1996年6月29日發(fā)行了自己的第一張專輯TROUBLE。專輯以Akon的說唱為主，還融合了他特有的非洲風格騷靈嗓音，再加上東岸和南方典型的音樂節(jié)奏，使得專輯一經(jīng)發(fā)行便受到了廣大歌迷的歡迎。
