　　When Spring Festival comes, I will go back to my hometown and spend the time with my relatives. In my hometown, there will be the basketball game on the first and second days of the new year. There will be a lot of people watch. This is a very good tradition.

　　For one thing, the basketball game makes people feel the atmosphere of the big festival. Unlike usually, there are not so many things happening in this town, life is simple here. 　　For another thing, the basketball game can bring people together. The first day of the new year is really a big day for Chinese people, they will go out and hang around. Many of my old friends will meet each other when we watch the basketball game. We talk so happily and say the new year’s wishes.

　　The traditional game provide people a place to meet each other and have the communication. They are enjoying the game while talking to their friends.

　　As the National Day came, I have a vacation, so I made the plan to go out and travel to the different places. Last year, I went to the big cities, like Shanghai, there were so many people, I could hardly see the tourist site. So this year, I decided to go to the small place, Wu Zhou. But the result is almost the same, so many people were around everywhere.

　　隨著國慶節(jié)的到來，我有一個(gè)假期，因此我制定了出游計(jì)劃，旅游不同的地方。去年，我去大城市旅游，比如上海，那里有很多的人，我?guī)缀蹩床坏铰糜尉包c(diǎn)。因此今年，我決定去小地方，梧州。但是結(jié)果還是一樣，到處都是人。

　　When I arrived at Wu Zhou, I was attracted by its beautiful scenery, though the city is small, the water and the mountain are around the city, which makes the city beautiful and casual. The city is famous for the food, especially the restaurant which below the Baiyun mountain. I thought it maybe a little more people, so I woke up early in the morning for avoiding the summit time. I came to the restaurant at about 7 o’clock, there were a lot of people standing in the long line. It needs to take about two hour for me to get a table!

　　當(dāng)我達(dá)到梧州的時(shí)候，我被它美麗的風(fēng)景吸引住了，雖然這個(gè)城市很小，但是山水包圍著這座城市，使得這座城市看起來很美麗和休閑。這座城市的食物很出名，特別是在白云山下的參觀。我以為會(huì)有很多人，因此早早起來，避免高峰期。我大約七點(diǎn)鐘就來到了餐館，很多人在排隊(duì)。我需要等兩個(gè)小時(shí)才能等到一張桌子!

　　Now I have learned a lesson, it is better not to take a trip in the festival, I need to miss the time if I want to travel in a comfortable way.

　　It has been long recognized that the population between men and women lost balance, especially in the future, this problem will be more obvious. The result is that more men are thought to be the leftover men, which means being the bachelors. The root of this problem traces back from the traditional culture.

　　人們很久之前就意識(shí)到男女之間的人數(shù)失去了平衡,尤其是在不久的將來,這個(gè)問題將更加明顯。結(jié)果是,越來越多的男人認(rèn)為是剩男,這意味著單身漢。這個(gè)問題的根源要追溯到傳統(tǒng)文化。

　　In the old days, men were meant to everything, they were the most important person in the family. They raised the family, what’s more, it was believed that only men had the right to make a deal. So women were in the very low status, they did not make a big difference in the society. Every family at that time only wanted to have boys, so some babies girls were even killed when they gave birth, how cruel it was.

　　在過去,男人意味著一切,他們在家庭中是最重要的人。他們支撐了這個(gè)家庭,更重要的是,人們認(rèn)為只有男人才有權(quán)利做交易。所以女性地位很低,她們在社會(huì)上無所作為。那時(shí)每個(gè)家庭都只想要男孩,所以一些女嬰兒在出生時(shí)就被弄死,多么殘忍啊。

　　-As the traditional idea have been implanted in people’s mind deeply, so even the government tried hard to advocate the equality between men and women, still some families only want to have boys. Education plays the very important role in improving the young generation’s mind. The gender imbalance can be reduced by educating the next generation.

　　由于傳統(tǒng)觀念已經(jīng)深深植入人們的心靈,所以即使政府努力提倡男女平等,仍然只有些家庭想要男孩。教育在提高年輕一代的思想方面扮演著非常重要的作用。通過對下一代的教育,性別失衡可以得到減少。
