該表達(dá)的意思是“不但……而且……”，注意以下用法：
主要用于連接兩個(gè)對(duì)等的成分;若連接兩個(gè)成分作主語(yǔ)，其后謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞與靠近的主語(yǔ)保持一致。如：
She likes not only music but also sport. 她不但喜歡音樂(lè)而且喜歡運(yùn)動(dòng)。
