　　still用作副詞時(shí),意思是“還,仍舊,尚”。對想象中應(yīng)該結(jié)束的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)還在繼續(xù)表示“驚訝”; 或是強(qiáng)調(diào)始于過去的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)仍在繼續(xù),且含有“到目前為止”的意思,所以多用于一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)和現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)。still用在肯定句中,須放在助動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞后面,行為動(dòng)詞之前; still用在否定句中,須放在助動(dòng)詞和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞之前,當(dāng)助動(dòng)詞是be時(shí),把still放在助動(dòng)詞前面或后面都可以,有時(shí)還可放在直接賓語之后。still可修飾比較級,作“還要,更”解。
