英語語法詳解：advice可數(shù)嗎
advice是不可數(shù)名詞，不能在其后加s。
表示“一條建議”用a piece of advice,“一些建議”是some advice。
advice (不可數(shù)名詞)：勸告，忠告
give(offer) sb. a piece of advice. 給(提供)某人一條建議
take one's advice 和 follow one's advice 都是“接受某人的建議”
refuse one's advice:拒絕某人的建議
some advice on(about)關(guān)于……的建議
——The teacher gave them some advice on(about) English learning. 老師給了他們一些學(xué)習(xí)英語的建議。

v.+n. .ing/sb. to do sth.
——They advised us to start early.(他們建議我們早點出發(fā)。start是v. early是adv.)

英語語法詳解：名詞胡須beard可數(shù)嗎
beard 主要指下巴和面頰下部的“胡須”，相當(dāng)于漢語說的“絡(luò)腮胡子”。比較：moustache 指嘴上的“胡須”;whiskers 指腮上的“胡須”。
beard 通常用作可數(shù)名詞，嚴(yán)格說來，應(yīng)是可數(shù)的集合名詞，它與不定冠詞連用，指的是一個人的全部胡須，而不是指一根胡須;用復(fù)數(shù)形式，指的是不同人的胡須，而不是指多根胡須。如：
He has [wears, grows] a long beard. 他留有長胡須。
Not all men have beards. 不是所有的男人都留有胡子。
有時用作不可數(shù)名詞，尤其見于…of beard之類的表達(dá)。如：
a fringe of beard on the chin 長在下巴的一圈胡須。
Graham came back from holiday with a week's growth of beard on his chin. 格雷厄姆度假回來，下巴上留著長了一個星期的胡子。
